Luisa Manfredini is co-founder and principal of M+M Architects.
Having obtained her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of NSW, Luisa is a registered architect in NSW with thirty years of experience of working in private practice.
Luisa is passionate about construction and residential design. She describes heritage restoration as a labour of love. In 2007, she was awarded the Mosman Good Design Award.
Luisa is involved with national and local groups to culturally inform and socially engage with the community.
In recent times, Luisa has acted as tour leader for the Australian Architects Association Sydney City Skyscrapers Walk; curator for Architecture on Show – an initiative by the Australian Institute Australia; chairperson of the Lower North Shore Small Practices Group; representative of the Chairs of Practice Networks and representative of small practices on the AIA NSW Chapter Council.

David McCrae is co-founder and principal of M+M Architects.
Having obtained his Bachelor of Architecture from Deakin University, David is a registered architect in NSW with extensive experience with a variety of building types and sizes across Australia.
David is actively involved in the architectural profession having acted as Chair of the Lower North Shore Architects Network and represented small architectural practices on the AIA NSW Chapter Council.
He is currently an Australian Institute of Architects NSW Chapter Councillor.
He volunteered to be a tour leader for the Sydney Skyscrapers Walk and the City Bar Tours organised by the Australian Architecture Association, and was previously a board member + secretary.
David is also an active member of the local Northern Beaches community. He founded Mo Manly – a men’s monthly meet-up group committed to raising money for the Northern Beaches Women’s Shelter, and is Vice President of the Manly Lions Club.

Victoria studied a Bachelor of Architecture in Bogota, Colombia.
She moved to Australia in 2001 and then went on to study for a Diploma in Building Design at Tafe NSW where she learnt and familiarised herself with Australian Architectural Standards.
She loves to travel around the world, experiencing all different cultures.
Residential architecture is her passion, as she enjoys designing homes for her clients to love and enjoy.
She enjoys walks around Manly and loves the relaxing atmosphere and lifestyle of the Northern Beaches.

Maria is passionate about design and creativity, born in Argentina and a graduate of the prestigious University of Buenos Aires, where she earned her degree in architecture.
Her passion for innovation led her to achieve a master’s degree in architecture, but her love for creativity extends beyond buildings.
From the way she dresses to the paintings she creates, Maria seeks inspiration and creativity in everything that surrounds her.
Furthermore, her passion for sports and teamwork has taught her the importance of collaboration and personal growth.
Maria is in a constant learning process because she believes that one never stops learning on this exciting journey of creativity.

Julia studied a Bachelor of Visual Media and Communications at Macquarie University.
She is passionate about Design, Social Media and Human-centered Design.
Like Stanley, her hobbies include; sleeping, food and coffee breaks.
Julia is the newest addition to our team.

The house looks fantastic! And today with all that sun, the view is really magical. The colour scheme works so well – texture, softness, clean lines, great contrasts all at the same time. Floors are just perfect. That toned oak colour is special and they still impress me all this time after having selected them. We love it!!! We hope you are happy with it too! We are so grateful to have had you as our architect and Sherocon as our builders – especially Brad and Robbie. Those 2 blokes are gems. I can hardly wait to have my first night in the house. Luisa was engaged as our ‘registered design practitioner’ to assist with the architectural design and certification requirements for our apartment renovation, which involved amalgamating two units. Luisa was fantastic at steering this part of the project through the complexities of renovating in a Class 2 building here in Sydney. Her work showed great attention to detail and she was highly effective at working with our certifier through to the issuing of our construction certificate. Her communication with us was excellent – timely and responsive. We’d recommend M+M to anyone considering renovating an apartment.

David played a pivotal role in the renovation of my apartment, specifically collaborating with my designer and builder to navigate the intricate requirements of the Design Practitioner Act for class 2 buildings.
David and his team’s knowledge and patience were instrumental in overcoming the plentiful and often frustrating challenges presented by these regulations. They demonstrated an ability to engage with key stakeholders (including certifiers and engineers) ensuring that obstacles were promptly addressed while keeping me informed without overwhelming me with unnecessary details.
Beyond his professional capabilities, David also enjoys engaging in meaningful conversations, adding a personal touch to the collaborative process. Overall, his expertise, persistence, and amiable demeanour made him an invaluable asset to the project.
