Manly House 2

Description

M+M Architects are proud to unveil our latest project: the conservation of a historic Manly Heritage House.

At M+M Architects, we are passionate about preserving architectural heritage and take great pride in our ability to do so. When we received the call about this project, located in the heritage conservation area of Manly, we were thrilled.

Our clients entrusted us with the important task of adding a first-floor extension to their cherished home. The goal was to provide additional bedrooms and a second bathroom while honoring the house’s original charm. We were committed to enhancing the home’s functionality and space without compromising its historic character.

In this project, we seamlessly integrated a first-floor extension, which includes new bedrooms, a bathroom, and a study. We utilized strategic dormers and raked ceilings to maximize both space and aesthetics, ensuring that the original roofline’s integrity was maintained.

Our approach carefully balanced modern functionality with the timeless values of heritage architecture. Every detail was meticulously planned to preserve the house’s historic essence while offering our clients the contemporary amenities they needed.

At M+M Architects, we believe in the seamless fusion of past and present. This Manly Heritage House project exemplifies our dedication to conserving heritage within architecture. Discover how we blend modern living with historic charm, creating spaces that respect the past while embracing the future.
