M+M Architects are proud to share the transformation of this historic Manly home, nestled in a heritage conservation area.
Our brief was to add a first-floor extension – providing extra bedrooms, a bathroom, and a study – while preserving the original character of the home. Using dormer windows and raked ceilings, we ensured the new additions complemented the existing roofline and maintained the home’s historic integrity.
Every design detail was carefully considered to blend heritage charm with modern functionality, creating a space that respects the past while meeting the needs of contemporary family living.
