M+M Architects have reimagined this single-fronted brick home in Crows Nest, transforming it into a refined, light-filled sanctuary with three street frontages.
To address the south-facing home’s lack of natural light, we introduced new East, North, and West-facing windows in the kitchen, dining, and living areas – flooding the space with sunlight and creating a warm, airy atmosphere. Carefully integrated additions, including a new bathroom, WC, and laundry, maintain the home’s original charm while enhancing function.
A private courtyard and recycled brick parking area add practicality and sustainability. The kitchen features bold, black FENIX finishes – bringing a sleek, modern edge to the heart of the home.
With its industrial-inspired palette and smart use of space and materials, this renovation blends minimalism with warmth, delivering sophisticated suburban living at its best.
