M+M Architects is proud to showcase this Kurraba Point Heritage Conservation apartment project.
Explore the stunning transformation of a two-bedroom apartment nestled along Neutral Bay’s waterfront, where we partnered with a dynamic mother-daughter duo to achieve remarkable results.
The existing building features a delightful mix of heavy sandstone and weatherboard walls, showcasing its unique character. Our clients were passionate about preserving this charm while seamlessly integrating modern comforts and style.
Our design approach carefully retained the warmth and intimacy of exposed sandstone walls, strategically opening some to welcome natural light into the interior. Furthermore, alongside preserving these historical elements, the apartment underwent a comprehensive renovation. Updates included new flooring, ceilings, bedrooms, robe joinery, and the addition of two luxurious bathrooms and kitchens.
Beyond this, the interior enhanced the living experience outdoors with ground-floor amenities. This included a custom-built pizza oven, BBQ area, and versatile vergola. These elements were seamlessly integrated to create an ideal setting for outdoor living and stylish entertaining.
Additionally, we collaborated closely with interior designer Mina Staples. Together, we curated a lush interior scheme tailored to our clients’ tastes and lifestyle. As accomplished professionals, they sought a space to unwind and recharge.
From initial concept to final completion, M+M Architects is proud to have brought this Kurraba Point Heritage Conservation vision to life.
Our team harmoniously blended heritage charm with contemporary luxury, resulting in a timeless and inviting home.
