M+M Architects were engaged to transform a 1930s block of four apartments in Manly. While solidly built, the property had not been updated for decades and was underutilising its generous site with lane access and district views.
Our design extends the upper apartments into the roof space and the lower units into the ground floor, while enlarging balconies to capture the elevated north-facing aspect and distant ocean outlooks. The top floor now features a dedicated wellness balcony with a spa and space for a yoga mat – a private retreat overlooking the coastline.
New garages with the option for studios above, plus landscaped communal gardens, complete the redevelopment, maximising amenity and value for all residents.
